The Latest on Miss K

I just wanted to post these lastest pics - the rest of the batch are on my facebook page. We managed to catch these poses at just the right time. All I can say is that I am in love with my little girl!

Hope all is well with you. Much love to you all.

Just Some Thoughts

I know this, in the past, has been a blog that focused on K. For the most part, she has been a huge portion of my life's change or "renovatus." However, with this job shift there has been a lot of catharthis going on. I stumbled onto this song by Sanctus Real and simply had to post the lyrics. Pretty freaking accurate if you ask me.

It's time for healing
time to move on
It's time to fix what's been broken too long
Time to make right
what has been wrong
It's time to find my way to where I belong
There's a wave that's crashing over me
And all I can do is surrender

(Chorus)Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but somehow there's peace
It's hard to surrender to what I can't see
but I'm giving in to something Heavenly

Time for a milestone
Time to begin again
Reevaluate who I really am
Am I doing everything to follow Your will
Or just climbing aimlessly over these hills
So show me what it is You want from me
I give everything I surrender...
To...

(Chorus)

Time to face up
Clean this old house
Time to breathe in and let everything out
That I've wanted to say for so many years
Time to release all my held back tears

Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but I believe
You're up to something bigger than me
Larger than life
something Heavenly
Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but now I can see
This something bigger than me
Larger than life
something Heavenly
Something Heavenly
It's time to face up
Clean this old house
Time breathe in and let everything out

Thanks for reading. Much love to all.

I'm now on Facebook

For those of you savy to the internet, I'm now an official member of facebook.com. I didn't truly appreciate its benefits until I got together with various members of the Pentavorite this past weekend and heard how everyone but me was a facebooker. Check off another box in the "technologically sociable" column for me.

For my family members that might have no idea what I'm talking about, simply got to http://www.facebook.com/ and type in my name in the "search for people" blank. It will ask you to submit some information in order to see my page, but it will be worth it - I can upload pics of Miss K 200x faster on facebook than on this blog. That said, I have already uploaded an entire album of pics that you haven't seen yet. So, if I may entice you with that bit of info, so be it.

We are all well if not a bit tired of the rain and leaky roof at the homestead. We're looking to have that fixed by the end of summer, Lord willing. Hope all is well with you. Much love to all.

Four months is too long...

...to go between posts. My apologies to all who are faithful in their reading of the Renovatus. Let's see what we've missed: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and February. In a glimpse, we ate too much, received too much, welcomed in '08 with a bang, and got dumped on (snow wise). The corresponding pics are of Miss K playing in her first "blizzard" and hanging out at the house. Hope you enjoy them.

In the meantime, we are in the process of undergoing some serious change around here. H just finished her coursework from BYU and is submitting her license request to ODE this week. I have recently accepted a teaching position at BLHS, my old haunt, and will be laying down the mantle of responsibility at the church as of August 3. It is all very good stuff and we are excited for the changes that are taking place.

More tomorrow. Much love to all.
